It'll burn rubber, get you sideways as hell, and drive you from point a to point b fairly quickly, but it isn't the best machine a man could buy lol. Its an alright car, but I definitely wouldn't mind getting a new vehicle lol.
Pros:
Get sideways, burnouts, race, jam to some tunes
Cons:
bad gas mileage, unreliable

The Biggest fault with the 1997 Camaro= THE DRIVER. ( I broke it in half).
Pros:
IT'S A V8 CAMARO.
Cons:
It can get you into alot of trouble. Its fast and it really needs a experianced driver.

This car was awsome so sad I had to sell it... if your looking at one get a 98 or newer and if you have the money opt for the new one with 426 HP. I wish I had the skills to fix all the problems mine had

performance, sound and the feeling of cruising along at 100+ with the windows down and the music up

The performance is very, very good. The amount of torque the engine produces is great and there is plenty power on the high end as well. Build quality is good, some squeaking, but not bad for a 12 year old car. I like the exterior styling alot but I can't say its more attractive than the...new Camaro. The gas mileage...sucks. I am averaging less than 15 mpg which is a combination of a driving with a heavy foot and having a V8. The car is a blast to drive, and worth the pitiful gas mileage, wouldn't give it up for a four-banger anyday.

This car runs and has always ran excellent. I have put on about 7 or 8 thousand miles and its never quit or anything. The performance is relatively strong, but not incredible. Its good for about a 14.1 second quarter mile time. Its definitely fun to drive.
Pros:
Good quality, love the way it sits low.

Wish it had more power..

Its a race car. Whats not to like about it? Its runs 6.50's and thats with a little smallblock. We built the car ourself. In the fall of 06 we bought the car as a stock z28 and now we finally finished it. Its got a poweglide in it with 32 inch tall, 16 inch wide tires on the back

This was a very fast car. It handeled great, it had great acceleration. The only down side to this car was that it had a bad trans and it didn't shift correct. Other than that the car was amazing and a real joy to own. I miss it a lot and wish I had it still.

the car has the LT1 engine with the z28 refinements pushing 400 horsepower. very fast off the line and keeps you moving quickly through the upper ends of its gears. first gear will throw you into the back seat if your not paying attention. the interior is great the leather and its trim makes you feel like your in a cockpit of a jet fighter.
Pros:
very fast for its class, and heavy to help with high speeds. handles great.
Cons:
blew two window motors and 3 speakers without heavy use. could use a little more sound proofing.

97 Z28 Anniversary Camaro. LT1-350 fueli w/315hp, 6-speed tranny, hurst close throw shifter, white leather, t-tops, fully loaded, only 40,000 orginal mile car. Came from Florida, bought from original owner who was retired.
Pros:
Color scheme, very fast, rare
Cons:
always needs new tires, not an SS
