Slow acceleration, brakes work wonders, handling is good if your suspension is in good shape (mine is not anymore).

I just replaced the head gasket, It needs a new MAF and new struts.

Looks like a nerd car, but it is.

Diesel is crazy expensive but it gets 50miles/gallon, parts aren't cheap either.

Pros — mileage, sturdy
Cons — expensive repairs, fuel cost

its a 5 spd and i love it. i drive  52 miles a day just for school not including just driving around town for other stuff.  its got 175500 miles on it and it on the original clutch and engine.  those Germans know how to build a car.

Pros — i took a 450 mile road trip and it made it on 1 tank and got 45 miles to the gallon!
Cons — its only got 90 horse power when it was new so its not a stoplight racer its just a cheep way to get from point A to point B
