Well for your 1st car you cant really complian..but hind =sght is a strange thing. the mk 4 is the worst golf ever made..it was to heavy and under steered badly. the engine was noisey when stationary and to took a good 10 minutes to reall warm up. netherless this car was bomb proof and you could give it some stick. all together you can't moarn that much it was my 1st car abd i'll never forget it

My Golf GT TDI is probably one of the best cars i have owned so far, it is very reliable and has the performance to match, with over 180 BHP!!. With the fuel prices continually rising too i am more than happy with the 50+ miles to the gallon it returns, so this makes it very practical and exceptional fun to drive

Great looks, amazing performance, and reliable

Can be a little challenging in the wet

Very comfortable ride yet readable handling (fun to drive), feels well-built and solid, low fuel consumption. The engine is a bit noisier in the cabin, especially in 120+ kmh. Vibrations in the cabin when in idle. Had several problems with reliability of some less important parts which was a bit annoying. Overall, I liked the car.

Well built, economic, comfortable, low fuel consumption.
Cons:
A bit unrealiable and noisy.
