We bought this car from the second owner who took care of it meticulouly. After a vigorous scrubbing, new stereo, and fixing the tag lights we have had no trouble at all, its not as strong as my G35 coupe, but i like it just the same. Starts every time, runs great, sips gas, hanles like a more expensive car and the dog loves it. We have named her Sekihan which is japanese for red rice, did i say she was red?, with a white top. she has 130K miles on her and many more left in her, the only thing i cant figure out is why does she have the factory towing package?

Pros — handles great, looks great, turns heads, sips gas, awsome seats.
Cons — could use more power.

I bought this car on ebay for $1600.00 from the original owner in 2004. All it needed was a new exhaust system. car is completely stock and everything works. Even the top was in great condition. It was a California car so it has no rust. 170,000 miles and she purrs like a kitten. Even the convertible top is in decent condition for the age. I have owned Toyotas for nearly 25 years and still think the 22r and re were the most durable 4 cyl ever built. 85 and older rear wheel drives are getting hard to come by so if you have keep it as it will only appreciate in value. well gotta go now. see ya.
