good first car, easy to DIY repairs.

    *  Performance – acceleration, braking, handling
    * Build Quality – has it needed repairs? squeaks/rattles
    * Appearance – both interior and exterior styling
    * Cost of Ownership – gas mileage, maintenance
    * Fun Factor – is this car fun to drive?

All good.

Pros: good first car, easy to DIY repairs.

Cons: A box, but looked great back in 87!

Runs well and now that is all fixed up is gonna last a while longer, but it's not that fun to drive because it's automatic and slow, al though i drive it like it isnt

Pros: Reliable, can drive it pretty crazy and it doesnt fight

Cons: its a honda accord with one gold door made in 1987. what more can i say?

Well, for a DD car, her it is, the one and the only......transition car from my 7 to the AV6....so reliable kinda miss it.

Pros: Gas mileage, reliability.

Cons: slow slow slow.....

Its ugly, its slow but at least i get to work in one piece

Pros: Has a clarion deck and 4 4 1/4's infinity references

Cons: fuel pump cost me 200 and to get it safetied like 1000

Love my 87 Accord LX, except two design challenges. (1) It has a complex web of vacuum hoses that took me two days to replace one by one. (2) I've heard one reliable mechanic and an Internet source both stating that if you begin having carbeurator troubles on this model, there's almost no fixing it (time to move on).

I have seen plenty of reviews on cars that are great and i get a little tirersome of the pages people write so i'll keep it short. I have a 1987 accord one of the plainest cars they made with only a/c and cruise. I have to say though it runs great and only has minor problems but that only started when it hit the 200,000 mile mark. It now has 215,857 and runs fine. So parents looking to get there kids a first car this is a great one or just as a low salary car.

I really have enjoyed rebuilding my 1987 Honda Accord. I had a little trouble with the intake manifold, but other than that, it's a great car to drive. Great handling and wonderful gas mileage.

325,000 plus miles, and drive it about 50 miles every day. Never have a problem taking it on road trips either. I love this car. I paid $150 for it almost 3 years ago, and it just keeps getting better!
