1991 Mercedes-Benz 350-Class 4 Dr 350SDL Turbodiesel Sedan Reviews
| “The 1991 350sdl Was A Car To Be Viewed With Awe. It Was Handsome, Powerful And Elegant.” The fit and finish, both interior and exterior, of the 1991 350SDL was as fine as could be. The 3,800 lb car got almost 30 miles per gallon (when diesel was about 90 cents, or maybe about $1.50 today). There was room for elderly bank trust customers to ride most comfortably in the back. The car held up well to the harsh New England climate, but, as with all Mercedes, had no traction in snow.
Pros —
The beautiful W-126 chassis and exquisite interior finish. The car had very little plastic, unlike MB's cars produced today that seem to be all plastic. The 1991 350SDL was actually worth the $58,000 it cost then, in 1991 dollars.
Cons —
The defective 603.970 6-cylinder diesel angine that often collapsed

| “Very Desirable Car, I Have No Words To Describe.” The new models lost the charm and the quality. Big sin

One look at this car and it speaks for itself. You feel like real luxury riding in one of these marvels of modern engineering. Only about 2500 of these cars were ever produced, if you are lucky enough to own one, hold onto it! This car has great power and handles like a dream. The interior gives you plenty of leg room. This car has the most leg room out of any other car I have been in. More than many Rolls royces and Bentlys. Fantastic car. Best car ever made!
