I bought my 1994 toyota corolla about a year ago, its my first car and im very pleased with it. I've had only minor problems with it. ie alternator. It was a cheap fix and i did it myself. The only negative about this car is that it does burn oil, Which is pretty typical for a 1994 car regardless of what kind it is.

well the car is truley awful. having said that, i love it with all my hart. it has over 243k miles on it and still running. it has a 5 speed manual. i replaced the clutch and flywheel on it not to long ago and now she runs like new...ish

Overall if my car was not in such bad condition i think it would be a relatively good car for in town running, otherwise i would not recommend it to people who are serious about their cars and their performance.
Pros:
It does what i need it to.
Cons:
The fact that it is so easy to mess up.

Great mpg before mpg was important to anyone except a teen with only five bucks. Boring car to drive but very dependilble and cheap to own. It was a great car but I was looking for a little more excitment... ok a lot more.

very nice body roll control...steering feels slighty too light.....has good ride on med roads....twin cam engine has lots of revs....with the power nicely balanced in the middel of the rev range.........heavier on fuel then i thought it would be.. the styling is very neutral inside and out..... nothing flash...but atleast it was very well thought out

I bought it in autumn 2007 and it's done 255000 kilometers to date. only problem since has been lightning in the middle console which is easily fixed with a punch :) seats and interior are in good condition and overall you really don't believe it's already 14 years old! Exterior is easy to catch rust but luckily mine has been in Lapland over ten years and not driven on salted roads.
Pros:
easy to drive, reliable, neutral looks, engine, easy maintenance, cheap
Cons:
engine power, neutral looks, corrodes rather easily if not protected

I like the car and the body style.I have 193,000 miles and still kicking.

Roomy, Gas saver and the 1.8 engine has enough kick for me

Toyota always stood for dependability, but this Corolla is out of this world! with 210.000 Km on the Odo, it just ticks away, 17 km pr. L of gas1, seating for five, one airback, and a trunk with plenty of space! Its not fast, but fast enough for the Danish highway.
Pros:
alot of car for a small budget
Cons:
only the liftbacks and the hatcbacks are fair looking cars, the sedan and stationcars wont win any design prices.
