its a twincam 16v,quite fast for a 1600,handling is good and has power steering.its 16 years old so will be needing some attentin where parts are concerned but nothing major.looks sporty and classy inside,is fullhouse,has evrything you can possibly want.on the outside looks sporty aswell with lip,bootspoiler,racing stripes etc.very fuel effecient if you hav a light foot lol.maintaining the is very cheap not that it breaks down(as toyotas are built).and totaly love to drive it...shes sexy,and everyone knows it

a lot of my bond with this car is emotional. it was my husband's. through thick and thin, pizza delivery, accidents galore, stalking him on his run with little thomas in the jeep...
Pros:
toyotas last forever
good gas mileage
Cons:
this particular car's interior is falling apart...the ceiling material has come off, the seats are ripped. starting to have more repairs than I like, but it's still less than a new car payment, and I can't afford an outright cash buy.

Excellent car. These things run forever.
Pros:
Can fit a good amount of cargo, and the rear seats fold down. With the 5-speed gearbox it's fast, for an econobox. Super easy to maintain and work on. Great buy.
Cons:
Front wheel drive, not the best stability at high speeds (handles 75 no problem though), and tops out at ~110 mph (as if you NEED to go that fast, but still).

my dad bought the car back in 1992 i got it when i turned 16 now im about to turn 20 its traveled the whole east coast been in floods, hurricanes, snow and 110 degree hot weather the only thing ive ever had to replace was the distributor other then that the car is in great shape, its nearing 200k and still going strong. great car!!! |
