1991 Toyota Corolla 4 Dr LE Sedan Reviews

The thing was notoriously crap.  Suspect handling, suspect build quality, suspect performance, but the brakes were good.  And so was the stereo, special thanks to me and Dannel.  3 crashes in the 3 years I owned it, one my fault.

Nothing can be worse than driving a corolla.  Speed isn't
the sharpest knife in its arsenal, looks...not really,
handling....yeah you get the picture.  Its a car that'll get
you to point B from point A, but you'll just get there feeling
bored out of your mind.

paid 1000$ and been abusing her for 3 years already.. wow. Only had to change basics Oil, brakes, struts, tires.

I've driven my Corolla for 4 yrs now and it has had no serious problems. The rear defrost doesn't work for some reason but other than that everything still works smoothly. The engine has over 290,000 km on it and still runs like a charm. My only complaints are that the lights aren't so good and that there is not a lot of leg room, especially in the back. However being 6'2 has much to do with it! Also, it could use a bit more power. It has pep when you need it for passing but it doesn't take hills very well and cruising above 120km/h is a bit of a strain. Overall though it makes a great city car and is quite good on gas. I recommend it.
