Performance: No acceleration. Vehicle too heavy for factory brakes. Handling is excelent with my 14" wide aluminum rims and 31x10.50x15 allterrain tires. Ptran custom ghetto suspension: 4" Lift in rear, 2" lift in front.
Pros:
Relatively well built chassis. Survived an accident. (barely)
Cons:
The 3.OL V6 is Toyota's biggest retardo moment.

It's an awesome car. It's very dependable and built very solid. I recently repainted it midnight black and it's trimmed in chrome. I wouldn't trade it for nothing in the world. They are luxury cars so you really have to keep up the maintance.
Pros:
It's very reliable.
Cons:
It picks up speed slowly.

acceleration and breaking are excellent the steering is great for such a big car lots of trunk space good off roading power even though not 4 wd ac and sound system still work good one speaker just broke though so looking for new speakers overall i love my car its very fun

I drive a 4runner and it rides really well and has plenty of room for me and a few friends....the only thing i dont like about it is that mine is 2 wheel drive...fun to drive and has a great ride quality....so i totally suggest drving this car

Lets face it Toyota builds great vehicles. But the V-6 engine is a lemon. The Toyota engineers who designed the heads must have been on some serious crack to screw up this bad. Toyota will only fix the problem once. The gasket blows around 100,000 miles and will be fixed free of charge. The new gasket will blow at around 200,000 miles and since they used the same gasket, they won't fix it. So the owner gets to pay from $1,500.00 for a gasket replacement to $3,500.00 for a new?rebuilt engine, which will blow in another 100,000 miles.
