My step father has had his since he bought it brand new has over 300,000 miles on it still runs like a fox had to adjust the throttle cable once but other than that it has never been into the shop for anything!!! he changes and maintains the oil and fluids himself and hes no mechanic but it is very easy great running vehicle. i hav seen him pull a massive stump out of the ground with his 4 runner it is a great SUV i recommend for anyone who wants to pay for what they get

Loyal fan of Toyota, hate to say, if Americans could build stuff like this I would want to buy American. Have a '74 FJ40, '84 FJ60 and a '94 4Runner.
