1994 Pontiac Grand Prix 2 Dr SE Coupe Reviews

This car was in fair condition when I bought it in 2007. The 3.1 litre V6 was strong and sounded great with the factory dual exhaust. I can't say too many bad things about it because it was a decent car when I needed one pretty badly, $2,900 won't buy a much nicer car. Rust manifested itself under the plastic cladding from years of the previous owner not caring. Handled pretty good but understeered like there was no tomorrow. Also, it weighed 3,580 lbs. with a quarter tank of gas. Way too heavy for real "Pontiac Excitement."

it's fun to drive. it hugs the corners, you can tint the windows, at least it has a v6 but supercharged would be nice. i like this car and i can't think of anything else to say right now but thanks.

Mmmm...it's a two-door, black, has "Grand Prix Racing" decals on the windshield, the Pontiac arrowhead in the back of an extra "limo dark" tinted window, it sits a lot lower that most other '94 models, it's got that nice "Pontiac hum" when you rev it. I'm not a huge fan of cloth interior, but I guess I can't be spoiled with leather ALL the time. :-) It has neon red "sex" lights under the dash of both the driver and passenger sides.
Acceleration is great...breaks are great...handles like a true sports car. Hasn't had too many major repairs. Recently added keyless entry system.
Gets about 21-25 mpg...it's a fun car to drive...I've noticed that it's appearance makes a lot of people stare. It's a sexy beast. :-)

Well this car ran fine when I first got it at around 95,000 miles with only a few minor problems. (Such as Driver window was off the track, brakes, normal maintnence.) Once it hit 100,000 the car fell apart. Almost everything in the engine started leaking (head gasket, intake manifold gasket, many other smaller problems) and the rest of the cars electrical systems began to fail and the body started rusting out. I have the 3.4 liter engine and there is no room in that bay to work on anything. Changing the rear spark plugs is pretty difficult because that engine is jammed in there so tightly. If you really want to get one I'd recommend the 3.1 liter engine. They are easier to maintain and run a whole lot better. I don't think I would have hated the car if it didn't give me so many problems. If everything worked the way it was supposed to it would have been a whole lot better.
