| “I Would Buy Another One”

Its a decent car. Its pretty fast for what it is. I have beat many of cars that i didnt think i would. Like a new lincoln an impala a cavilier with an eco-tech 2.2 5 speed manual. I think it is a great car and i would definatly buy another one but i would not beat it as hard because it can only handle it for so long. I only had 145000 on mine but it had a hard life.

Its a fun car to drive and the performance is good. It ratlles here and there but the car is ten years old. It didnt need much repairs. Its just a 4 cylinder but it does have some power. Its a good car.

Its a good car to buy if its your first
Cons:
the twin cams can go at anytime

it is a solid car and gets good milage, it isnt too fast but gets me to where i need to be, it doesnt need much to maintain it, it is an average car to drive, not the best or worst ive drivin

1999 Pontiac Grand Am Se, 2.4L 4 cylinder engine, painted 16" rims (granite) purple underglow, ground effects, premier head unit, racing seat covers, racing mats, inside stobe neon bar, dynamat in trunk, window graphics both front and rear, painted wiper blades, interior dash trim kit.
Pros:
Great visual car, during day it gleams, and during the night the underglows make the car one sweet looking ride.
Cons:
Terrible engine design, the 2.4L for the 99' Grand Am (same as 99' Cavilier) is horrible, way too many problems with it.

As I said; it was nothing like the previous Grand-Am I owned. The sturdy distributor-less 2.4L 4-cylinder engine got between 35-38 MPG and still performed better than my V6 '95. It never had any problems, was fun to drive (despite not having cruise), and get this: it had 160,000 miles already on it when I bought it, and ran as if it were brand new. Good job, previous owners.

Easily the best American car I've ever owned

No cruise?

I have 167k on this little guy and et me tell you this car still has it. If you plan on getting this ride do your self a favor and buy the 2.4L ECOTec.
Pros:
2.4L, nice interior, front wheel drive with trac control(work's great in the snow).
Cons:
under the hood is for the tec savy, grease monky kinda guy (or gal)
