| “Long Lived, Solid, Generally Reliable” We drove this car for 9 years and 180,000 miles. Typical Audi electrical glitches, all centered around the usual suspects, the Bosch electronics.
Pros —
Strong engine (for the time); smooth manual transmission; good handling; excellent snow traction (with Bridgestone Blizzaks)
Cons —
Electrical glitches; tires always wore unevenly, regardless of frequency of rotation and alignment.
