Just bought the car, used with 170k miles. It has thus far been very exciting to drive. The AWD system handles the corners amazingly. The 1.8l turbo is quick but not a race winner. The cost for repairs is WAY too high, but treat an Audi with respect, it will return the favor.
Pros:
AWD, fuel economy, looks, style, comfortable.
Cons:
cost or repairs, lack of horsepower

Gotta love the Quattro! Drives great. It really needs some more pep but luckily I have friends in the business. It gets decent gas mileage, better than what I was getting in a truck. And it is fun to drive.

First year of the 1.8turbo, so it only has 150 horsepower. BUT there is so much aftermarket support for this car so making more is easy. It's all stock except for a lowering kit and 18x8 original Audi RS4 wheels. It looks good and is very reliable. And nothing stops Quattro AWD. NOTHING.

Good on gas, great on turns interior could have less outside come in but I can barely hear it over the Bose speakers, lol. Its fast....but could be faster.....hated dat it only had 150hp so i added a stage 1 clutch...next move: TAKE OFF THE GOVERNOR, it stopped me at 130mph!!! I have quite some work in store for this baby....

AWD, engine is a fighter, this car SCARES people

interior noise, expensive maintaince, and also AWD, I WANNA DRIFT!!! lol

The Audi is amazing in the snow. 5sp very responsive. The only problem with the car is the electronics are very complicated and has weird problems some times. Few factory defects (ie. Rusting side view mirrors). Heated seats don't last very long. Other than that, its a solid car. Very fun car to drive.

Vacuum lines were crap, 150 hp wtf? tiny turbo, auto FTL, but damn those heated seats were good!
Pros:
reliable, boring can't get in much trouble, better than a 97 2.8
Cons:
vacuum lines, under powered, weak sauce awd system, abs kicks in if you brake while turning

This car was the first car where I became obsessed with its' performance and appearance. I used to spend at least one day every weekend either detailing or modifying her.
Pros:
All Wheel Drive and super fast once modded
Cons:
Clutch and Turbo were expensive to keep in shape.
