There's nothing like the sound of a 5.0 HO roaring to life when you turn the key. Add to that the ability to quickly drop the top, and presto, you have a true sports roadster.

Pros: V-8 power and acceleration.
Cons: Small trunk, but then again you don't drive these for hauling.

One of the best choices you can make buying a used car today. They are going up in value rapidly!Very hard to find the 5.0 in stock condition.

Cons: Thieves seem to be attracted to these cars so install ALARMS!

Fox bodied mustangs have been around since 1979 however they are still eye catchers and can be had for a reasonable amount of money. My mustang is a 1990 and is currently 17 years old. It still drives like new. This is my first convertible and I love it. The 5.0 V8 is very strong and the car handles very well for a convertible. Interior wind noise is a little high at highway speeds and thats to be expected being a convertible. Seating is comfortable however the seats don't go back far enough for tall people such as myself. Fit and finish is good but not outstanding. Overall this is a great affordable convertible that anyone can own and enjoy without going broke.
