1992 Ford Taurus 4 Dr LX Sedan Reviews

This car was a mistake on my part.  The reason why is I opted for the 3.8 liter V-6 instead of the way more reliable 3.0 V-6.  With the larger engine with this car gives you the same amount of horsepower, but with a substantial amount of more torque, that's about it.  The negatives when you get this engine.  Bad transmissions, head gaskets that need to be replaced about every 50,00 miles, bad motor mounts, pretty much getting the larger V-6 ruins the car. They only used the 3.8 V-6 from 1988 to 1995 in the Ford Taurus.  Opt for the smaller 3.0 V-6.

This car is an emblem of American Pride. Though it is getting old, this car still has character. It's not fast doesn't handle corners well, doesn't accelerate very fast but the 3.8 V6 is still kicking. This is a true American's family sedan.
