2004 Ford Mustang GT Premium Reviews
“That "guy" Car”
This vehicle, with the correct driver behind the wheel. Will do anything, go anywhere, and be anything you want it to be.
quick but feels like it lacks guts look is too standard nothing compared to a 5.7L mopar
“Be Better With The 5.0 Instead Of The 4.6”
like it overall
Its a good car to play with and have for awhile but in reality it is not a car that i want to have long term, with gas prices and seating availability.
I got rid of my Mustang GT because it was giving me high school flashbacks. Don't get me wrong, it was fun to drive, but much in the same manner as a go-cart. I had wanted a gray 5-speed GT for a long time and I finally bought one, with black leather seats and the 40th anniversary badges. It was a blast when I was accelerating hard, or when going 125 mph in the middle of nowhere. But driving around the city, it was a pain in the ass. The shifter is not smooth, especially between 1st and 2nd. By 50k miles the squeaks, rattles, and road noise were deafening. No independent rear suspension. Add the fact that the interior looks like it was made by Fisher-Price and the outside has a big glued-on fake hood scoop and you will get the feeling that you should have spent your money on something classier.
