This vehicle, with the correct driver behind the wheel. Will do anything, go anywhere, and be anything you want it to be.

Pros — The Handling
Cons — It doesn't have the punch some muscle cars do, with only 260hp

Its a good car to play with and have for awhile but in reality it is not a car that i want to have long term, with gas prices and seating availability.

Pros — fun to drive, looks good, sounds great.
Cons — gas eater, small back seat, no trunk basically.

I got rid of my Mustang GT because it was giving me high school flashbacks. Don't get me wrong, it was fun to drive, but much in the same manner as a go-cart. I had wanted a gray 5-speed GT for a long time and I finally bought one, with black leather seats and the 40th anniversary badges. It was a blast when I was accelerating hard, or when going 125 mph in the middle of nowhere. But driving around the city, it was a pain in the ass. The shifter is not smooth, especially between 1st and 2nd. By 50k miles the squeaks, rattles, and road noise were deafening. No independent rear suspension. Add the fact that the interior looks like it was made by Fisher-Price and the outside has a big glued-on fake hood scoop and you will get the feeling that you should have spent your money on something classier.

Pros — Obviously it has a lot of power and torque and is therefore fun when you're pushing it hard. The engine appeared to be reliable. Mustangs seem to be built as tough as trucks, so they can handle whatever you dish out. The seats were fairly comfortable. I was able to fit surprisingly large objects into this car with the back seats folded down. I know the handling on these cars is supposed to be bad, but I thought it performed surprisingly well around corners, as long as the pavement was dry.
Cons — High school kids will want to race you in their daddy's Tahoe. The fake air scoops don't seem like a big deal at first, but after a while you cringe when you see them. The Goodyear Eagles are like hard plastic in the ice and snow, so plan on getting some all season tires. This is a crude, unrefined muscle car. If that's your thing, you'll love it.
