2004 Ford Mustang Deluxe Reviews
| “The Mustang Delux” This car looks great. If you take care of a car like this it can be an eye catcher. Not to mention everyone likes a mustang whether they admit it or not. The performance on it is average seeing as all i have is a V6 with an automatic. The steering and handling on in couldn't be better though. Its one sharp car. Now that I have one, my dad is talking about getting a GT.
Pros —
Great looking car that pleases the driver
Cons —
It only has a V6

| “Looks Sharp, Feels Fast, Fairly Cheap And Practical.”
A good compromise car. Big enough to carry four for a short trip, cheap enough to use as a daily driver, "sporty" enough to take to the weekend autocross.
Pros —
Cheap to operate, even with high gas prices (22 mpg 70% city, 30 mpg highway). No mechanical issues so far (~40k miles). Love the "Edge" styling, even if it's more than a little flashy. Rear wheel drive is ftw.
Cons —
Too heavy for the power. The better 4.6L V8 is too thirsty. Handling and weight distribution are "suboptimal". 5 speed manual has a long throw.
The 1999-2004 mustangs still ride on a modified Fox platform, which came from the late 70's. It feels like it, too.

| “V6 Waiting For More Power And A Respectable Transmission” 2004 V6 mustang w/ Cobra front facia and fog light assemblies, MAC cold air induction kit, MAC Y-back dual exhaust, 18" ROH wheels wraped in 265/35ZR18 Vredestein Ultrac performance tires. Unfortunately I've got to live with a 4speed automatic transmission...for the moment. also have a set of underdrive pulleys in the garage waiting to be installed.
Pros —
red mustang....enough said
Cons —
4 spd auto transmission
