Best Sports Saloon ever built. Monster low end torque, leading to good trap speeds, and 0 - 100 times. If you decide to swap teh engine head to a 323i part, then it transforms the cars character into a real sport car, essentially creating a 327i. Classic, timeless looks, direct intuitive steering. SHEER DRIVING PLEASURE.

Pros: Moster Torque for Engine Size, Timeless Looks, Great Build Quality.
Cons: Expensive Parts

nice torque, suspension needs modification. BMW biuld quality! Not very revy but you get power (although not to much) from the bottom end. Rear wheel drive is cool and this car also shows up the BMW e30 specific oversteer behaviour.

Pros: torque
Cons: fuel consumption, not to revy

best car to own if you know anything about cars. easy to fix, easy to source most parts, large fanbase for help.

One strong car. It's 23 y/o and still pulls hard, corners great, and gets 28mpg. Still kicks ass at the autocrosses.

It's one awesome car. great on the track, great on the road, great on the highways. No other car comes close.

Pros: it has more things standard than most new cars have as options.
Cons: some parts cost way too much for a car of this age and it has a 4800 redline

I like the way it handles. very fast around corners. the car has more brakes then it knows what to do with. the acceleration leaves alot to be desired. what do you expect it came with 121 hp. for 2009 i think the car will make about 140 hp to the ground

Pros: carner ability
Cons: no acceleration

I like that the car gets 25-30 MPG. I like that my car is a 4 door. I hate that my car is not fast like most cars. I like that my car only costed 1300 yet I have put 2200 into it. Overall it is a great car to drive around and go somewhat fast in. It just needs some work!

Pros: MPG, space, cost
Cons: performance, appearance

Clutch feel is excellent, not too smooth and not too harsh.  you know exatly when it goes in.  Steering feel is not too heavy, not too light.  Car is very capable of performing and cheap upgrades can take it even further.  i had ECU chip, K&N cone filter, stress bar, and 2.73:1 LSD.  Fun to drive, decent gas mileage too.  Mine had vinyl interior so it took abuse better than leather can.  Looked and drove good at 300,000++ miles, right up until i swerved away from a dog and hit a ditch.

Pros: everything stated above, plus they are cheap to buy.
Cons: idle control valve/control unit caused car to not idle correctly without the use of a penny with a .25in hole drilled in the middle restricting flow into the valve.  idle would rise and fall by around 1000rpms on its own.  very annoying when trying to shift gears.

not a whole lot of tire choices for 14in wheels...
