2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Reviews
| “2007 Camry Hybrid” For once I was ahead of the curve, a little bit anyway. The car is fun to drive. The electric motor gives you instant power off the line. In spite of what the literature says, the car gets it's best gas mileage in cruise, on the highway at about 70 mph. Fit and finish were great. We bought the upgrade with heated leather seats, fancy stereo and navigation system. One of my few gripes is the power seats don't have a memory function (something that is on our 1998 Volvo) so you have to reset the seats every time the driver changes.
Pros —
good fit finish, good gas mileage, comfortable.
Cons —
power seats lack memory function.

Pros —

Cons —

| “A Nice Riding Highway-cruiser”
I bought this car and promptly drove it to Florida. I put 10,000 miles on it in 4 months. The Camry Hybrid is a very nice car, with lots of interior room and a clean, modern design. The hybrid powertrain is imperceptible to all but the trained ear. The CVT transmission is smooth. I did not have the navigation system, so I relied on the instrument cluster readouts for my mileage estimates and hybrid system information. The blue-glow center console is also unique.
Pros —
Comfort, MPG, smoothness, high trade-in value
Cons —
It's too big, lacks any sense of sportiness, had a few rattles.
Great Deals

I've had mine for more than six months. The gas mileage ranges up to 45 mpg on some trips, typically 37-38 mpg on a tankful. The air conditioner is powerful but blows on the face. Since one can expect many drivers for the car, memory driver's seat would be welcome. Trunk space is a problem because of the traction battery, but overall I don't often carry both passengers and a lot of baggage. |

It works well, is economical and comfortable.
Pros —
Economical and comfortable.
Cons —
Small trunk and I don't think the dealer has a good knowledge of how the car is supposed to work.
