2007 Holden Commodore Reviews
| “A Real Powerful Piece Of Machinery”
Performance - You can sit on 200 km/h in 6th gear and be at only 2750 revs. Corners like on rails but not as ridged as some. Stops on a dime. One or two squeaks after it was run in but soon rectified and as quiet as a mouse. Black metalic paint with dark tinted windows, full leather interior with all the mod cons (bluetooth, DVD) Open road 10.1 litres per 100, around town up to 15.0 litres per 100. Being an australian manufactured vehicle the cost of a service repairs are moderate. This is the second SS I have owned and it is by far the best.
Pros —
Appearance, performance and comfort
Cons —
Cost of replacing tyres $600 a piece

| “Ss Baby” My second favorite car. (nothing beats my stato). Goes bloody quick, is great on fuel considering V8, sitting on about 11.9 l/100km at the moment. 6 speed manual is very nice to drive, a bit of a note from the exhaust, but needs something more to make it more beefy!
Pros —
fast, good on fuel
Cons —
too tempting to give it stick

| “Big Car, Big Performance, Big Fun”
Does everything I need a car to do - plenty of performance, lots of space, latest safety equipment, four doors for the family.
Pros —
Styling, performance, handling, space, safety, engine note, running costs
Cons —
People in slow cars with something to prove...and not that good in tight carparks
|
| “Good Solid Family Car” The base model commodore has all the standard features that you can expect however the interier finish is very ordinary. The performance of the car is mid range with nothing to write home about. I love the new look of the commodore and would only buy one based on this.
Pros —
Look, reliability
Cons —
satisfactory performance, bland interior
|
| “Buy One!” This car was spectacular to have! It was one of the best I have ever sat in and loved being driven around in it, it was luxurious and spacious!
Pros —
Fast, handles well, good automatic gearbox-especially when changing!
Cons —
expensive to run, not due to breakdowns, but to fuel, it is quite a thirsty car

| “Aussie Muscle Car” Amazing straight line speed best sounding engine, not so great if you used to driving european cars. Interior could use a bit more work in the styling dept, goes great handles well enough, great car for weekends with the boys not so good if you have to drive to work everyday in traffic
Pros —
Good price and amazing sound and performance
Cons —
Interior a bit cheap looking, gears hard to engage and fuel guzzler
