1995 Chevrolet Lumina Reviews
| “The Overall” Reviewing:
1995 Used Chevrolet Lumina 4 Dr STD Sedan
Great CAR! I beat the hell out of this thing and yet it is still running with over 130K miles to it. The matienence can be a little tricky with some spots having little room. Was a nice looking car at one point before I started driving it everyday.Just about your average get to everywhere car. Not really a stand out.
Pros —
Can surley take the wear and tear of a college kid and run well.
Cons —
not really, though I am sure that it has a lot to say negative wise about me.

| “Sweet Car” Reviewing:
1995 Used Chevrolet Lumina 4 Dr LS Sedan
It's a sleeper car so far. Aftermarket radio and speakers. Would like to get a little more performance. Needs different exhaust or none at all. Great gas mileage so far (20 City - 25 HW). Great handling for a car this size. Parts are a bit over priced if you go with Genuine GM.
Pros —
It's a Lumina.
Cons —
Most cramped engine bay ever.

| “Decent For $1000” Reviewing:
1995 Used Chevrolet Lumina 4 Dr LS Sedan
Not a bad car for the money. Just had the typical Chevy problems that was either basic maintenance or caused by me beating it up. Definitely a comfortable car that was actually pretty quick.
Pros —
Quick, roomy, somewhat reliable, easy to work on, easy to find parts.
Cons —
Typical 90's Chevy, rust holes on quarter panels, leaked oil (typical).
|
| “Great School Car” It has crappy acceleration, but it has new tires, belts, hoses, now 2 owners 92k miles, couple of dents and scratchs but hardly noticable, BIG trunk space.
Pros —
great gas milage about 28-30 mpg
Cons —
acceleration

| “I Shared This Car With My Family Until I Messed It Up. First Car That I Sped Excessively With.”
This car was actually a good sedan for its age. It had a V6, so its fuel economy was average. It safely transported us for years. Then, I messed it up.
Pros —

Cons —

| “First Year Of Rounded Out Lumina's Rocked!” Reviewing:
1995 Used Chevrolet Lumina 4 Dr LS Sedan
Well, a '94 lumina looked like a box with wheels - the '95 lumina had the more modern curved look and actually held the look and feel way into 2000... Anyway, i treated that car like crap. I put it up on two wheels driving around a corner, i crashed it several times, and while i was doing 80 over a curved bridge (with no shoulder) the front axle came off (no joke!). Fortunately, the fact the axle was crammed under the car worked like a braking system and i pulled over as far as I could on the right lane.
Pros —
built like a tank
Cons —
i didn't hang on to it
