The chevrolet corsica is a deceptivly slow looking vehicle.  Mine made 116 mph on more than two occasions, but only after burning about 3 miles of interstate. The handbrake is the only premium feature installed on any corsica, used properly it is very helpful for cornering on loose gravel or ice (it is not, however, much help on dry pavement...) All in all I would not hesitate to drive another corsica, in the compact class at the figure-8 races, that is.

Pros — corners well, sounds great when catilytic converter gets stolen by methheads, handles cracked cylinder heads very well. ITS FAST!
Cons — autopilot defective...

good car for just getting you there and not killing you. not so good gas millage but then again its 13 years old. small engine not fast no pickup really. pretty fun to drive not too hard to handle. It has a different type of steering that ppl arent used too. more steering involved.

Pros — durable, good first car, lasts a while
Cons — gas milage, engine, Accel,

Mine was owned previously by a very nice elderly lady who took immaculate care of it. That being said it has a 3 speed transmission and a 2.2 four cylinder, so it definitely isn't a performance machine. I would really like to drop a V6 in it and get a better transmission. I drive mine on the freeway fairly frequently, so it does alright. Anyway, I have had to do a few minor repairs on it, but other wise it has always been reliable, even in the cold. I hope to pass it on to my younger brother as his first real car and get something a little newer for myself.

Pros — Reliable, gas efficient (27 MPG for a 13 year old vehicle isn't bad), several variants
Cons — not enough passenger room, older model, should find one that was well maintained.

Hey I've got to tell you that this is one of the best cars I have ever had. It's not no race car, but if one can't argue that it can be counted on all the time. I've drove the one I have with a bad ball joint and A bent reerend for over a Year (yes I finally got it fix) and It still never left me stranded or anything!!!!! chevy came through with this car.
