Fun Factor - Fun to drive especially with the sunroof open
Performance - quick fo a Diesel (1.9TDi 96kw)
Cost of Ownership - Good fuel economy, maintenance is not bad
Don't have an accident, very expensive to fix don't drive behind HONDA CRV'S (Navarre) like i did!!!!

TDI 130 Sport edition, incredible engine on such a tiny car!!! Only 4.6 liters of diesel per hundred kilometers. Maintenance pretty high cost in France but I would never change it. Downsize: the seat are not envelopping enough and you tend to slide from you seat in the curves. Great look, Great equipment (many options...), Anazing engine... Love it!

Well.....where do I start, probablly in the begining hey. It all started one sunny Wed afternoon when I was about get into my beloved BMW330d to go and buy some chow when my phone rang.....it was the SAPS. I dont get to many of these phonecalls and although I was curious to hear what inspector Wednesday Molefe wanted to speak to me about I was worried as hell to get a call from the cops! He informed me that I was infact sitting in a STOLEN car.....Yes the dealer was a fraudster and the car was never paid for when he sold it to me. Well I went straight to the MFC and handed the keys and the car back to them and cancled my contract.
Spooked and a little dazed by the turn of events I went out and bought a cheap sensable car, a Polo Classic 1.6. I hate it, now and forever. Unfortunately the damn thing just wont give up impressing me! Every time I drive it, the little thing gives so much and askes for so little. Its light on juice, slow as hell, reliable and it doesnt scratch or get dirty!! Yes, it does not need to be washed.....Whats next I ask, will it start driving itself? (...note to self: it drove you home on its own last night after the golf day....) sorry, maybe it will decelop a cure for cancer or something, I dont know. The point is, If you are looking for a car that will be virtually invisable in terms of sheer driving pleasure, not drain your wallet like a supermodel hooked on cocaine and get you where you want to go in reasonable comfort, look no further. Buy a Polo Classic 1.6 comf.   

I bought this car as i saw an advert in the local paper. The spec was good and the price was fair. After owning the car for about a month i was extremley dissapointed with it. The build quality was poor for a vw. The engine was very poor and the gearbox was very temperemantal. The only plus points about it were the interior was very spacious for a little car and the overall look of the car was very appealing. After writng this car off earlier this year i can say that vw were very helpful in sorting things out regarding the finance etc. Overall the polo was an ok car the only things letting it down were the poor engine and build quality. I would recommend this car but not the 1.2 litre engine go for something higher i.e 1.4 or even the tdi !
