Reviewing: 1996 Used Chevrolet Camaro 2 Dr Z28 Hatchback

The car overall is a great driver and performer. The car has 300 horsepower and a great suspension setup along with big wide tires and some good brakes to keep the car on the road. Howeve the car is very expensive to drive. Fro exaple only one tire costs around $200 and it gets around 16mpg if u drive normally.

Pros — Fun and Fast
Cons — Too expensive

Reviewing: 1996 Used Chevrolet Camaro 2 Dr Z28 SS Hatchback

The 1996 Chevrolet Camaro is available in six models: Camaro (base), RS, and Z28, each as a 2-door coupe or convertible. Safety features include dual airbags, an anti-lock brake system (ABS), side window defrosters and 1997 side-impact protection. The standard engine on base and RS models is a 200-horsepower 3.8-liter V6 engine, an increase of 40 horsepower over 1995. The Z28 features a 285-horsepower 5.7-liter V8 engine and a standard 6-speed manual transmission. Available only on Z28 models, a new SS package increases horsepower to 305, adds an aggressive-style hood scoop, and upgrades the suspension on the coupe.

Pros — the 5.7 thingy !!  ''I mean the LT1''
Cons — The only problems that I have with the Z28 is the interior parts, like the door switches, they are a little cheesy and fragile.

It's only a v-6 but it still has power.  Turning at high speeds works very well, the car doesn't do a lot of shifting.  The appearance is o.k.  The paint is good and everything but I like the look of the old '67 the best.  I think it's a very fun car to drive.  I've got Magnaflow so it at least sound decent.  I wish I could get the GTP's supercharger on it cause it the same engine (3.8 L 3800 series II) but it wont fit.  I usually get 29 mpg so for a sports car, thats pretty good considering the Mustangs only get 24 at the best (usually).   Its all around been a good car.

Pros — Good gas milage for a sports car.
Cons — GM's electical wiring and every sucks.

had this for a year and a half, so far i have put a clutch kit, cold air intake, flowmaster exhaust with high flow cat, ignition, had the rear end rebuilt and wheels and tires. 5 speed 3.8l v6 putting 240 hp. t-tops

Pros — good daily driver, gas mileage, looks, handling
Cons — not enough hp. needs v8 and 6 speed. tops out at 120 mph

I can't dislike much about as its actual cost was 18,000 dollars. For a car with such a vast aftermarket and Powertrain, its unbeatable. it has its drawback like a weak Rear differential (never had an issue though), extremely cheap plastic (crap the car was cheap) so... Everything is in its due place...

This car is so much fun. I still get the same feeling driving it that i did when i bought it which is pure bliss.

Pros — Amazing car for the money. Gobs of torque, destroys Mustangs.
Cons — Interior could be better

This car is pure power. Even with just 6-cylinders, the pony car heritage is evident with a
stripped interior featuring the bare minimum of accessories. The seats lead back so that
the driver has can only guess the length of the hood, a testament to the holy driver mod.
Featuring hard-hitting rear-wheel drive and a rough suspension that allows the driver to
feel every bump in the road, the Camaro represents the best driver-automobile bond of
any car I've ever driven.

Pros — it's a Camaro
Cons — interior isn't staying together over time, low visibility

Just take a look, corvette rims (C-5) 18"...SLP short throw shifter, Weld on subframe connectors.. two tones interior (Red/Gray), and the car just always wants to go.. i have Hooker Cat back exhaust system havent done much else been saving my money for the new one coming out in mid 2009.

Pros — This is 96'...the lt-1 engine came out in the 92 corvette.. now, this engine is rated at 305 ponies in the vette.. It took FORD, til what...2005? to get the engine rating up to 300, haha. i just laugh.
Cons — They didnt keep this front end look in the newer models (98-02), but the 5th gen is on the wayyyy
