I own a 1996 Chevrolet Blazer, and it's been a god car to me, I love the four wheel drive feature, performance, rather slow haha but better then some. Cost of ownership is right in the middle I mean it does suck more fuel then your normal car I average about 20mpg highway but it's the city that just kills me. I wouldn't be afraid to dive it cross country it's just a nice car to own

Pros — four wheel drive, high vehicle stance and solid feeling

Cons — fuel mileage around town and slow

Reviewing: 1996 Used Chevrolet Blazer 4 Dr LT 4WD SUV

I HATE MY CAR!! It has over 222,000 miles on it. It has
no giddy-up. I hit the gas peddle and and eventually it
will go. It is a gas guzzler too. I get about 19 miles to
the gallon which is terrible. I hate this car and would
love to get a newer vehicle.

Pros — Nothing

Cons — Gas guzzler, no A/C, loud, terrible ride

Reviewing: 1996 Used Chevrolet Blazer 4 Dr LT 4WD SUV

Vey solid. Never left me stranded. Push-button 4WD, leather, good power, not bad economy.
But basic maintenance was about 1700/yr.
Small outside, big inside, roomy backseat, leather interior.
2-inch Body Lift and bigger tires

Pros — Roomy, zoomy, easy on the Gas and the A*s, 246,000 miles and going strong!

Cons — Pricey maintenance at the dealership

Reviewing: 1996 Used Chevrolet Blazer 4 Dr LS 4WD SUV

I have had my Blazer the reliability factor is amazing especially with the Vortech 4300 engine, it has 190hp and 260lb ft of torque. It always starts on the 2nd engine rotation even with nearly 120,000 miles on it.

As far as acceleration goes it isn't the greatest but then again it isn't really meant for speed. In the winter the handling is excellent especially with the 4wd option that mine has. Cost to own and run for me isn't too bad I get about 18-20mpg highway usually about 15mpg around town which isn't bad for a mid-sized SUV.

It is a fairly fun car to drive for me because I am much higher up then a normal car and I like that feeling and just makes you feel big and on top of everything.

Overall despite the fact that gas is over $4/gallon I still drive it because it's such a great vehicle.

Pros — the ride quality is decent for an SUV, the acceleration is acceptable and extremely reliable

Cons — gas can get quite pricy with it

one of my favs about my car is that it has alot of room... the interior is in great shape.... the dark interior makes it feel even more comfy!!!!!

Pros — great car, 4wheel drive, 4 door plus hatch, seats 5 people comfortably!!!!

Cons — it has a couple boo boos on the body!!!!

Standard, 4WD with 200HP+ has a hypertech chip on it. Also built a brush bar for it but not pictured.

Pros — Rides straight and gets 18-19 MPG.

Cons — The color could be better but it grows on you.
