Mine is the ST220 version with 3.0 litre V6 that gives more than 220hp. The brakes are a little weaker, when you compare to cars with similar engines..compared to common vehicles, it's very good. The worst thing about the car is that it is front wheel drive :( As for handling - the best track for this car is long curves out of town, but not on highway. The chasis is firm, but still comfortable. But you have to avoid holes anyway, it's no unusual to damage tires (they are 225/40 R18) or even the rims :(
Average fuel consumption is from 8,5l/100km (28mpg) - why would you do it??? - to 13l/100km (18mpg), but usually it is 11 to 11,5 l/100km (21,5mpg)
It is quite fun to drive, but it is a bit large for very windy roads.

Pros — engine, space, equipment
Cons — fwd, brakes a bit

Great car overall, big and comfortable, reliable, handles fantastically, economical 35 to 46 to the gallon, plenty of power and torque just a bit heavy pulling away!
Great family car and a bit of fun too!
Fun to throw around a bit on the bends and has masses of grip! Great lookng too! One of my favourites! Great space for holidays away! no repairs as yet!

Pros — Great looking, handles well, economical, comfortable, safe, reliable, huge boot, great extras
Cons — Heavy when pulling away, needs winding up!

This is a nice looking all round family car!! It is 130bhp tdci which handles well round bends.  It is a solid car although the suspension is a little stiff for babies in car seats (although it is the zetec s version and has 18inch alloys) so if we wanted a smoother ride i suppose we should have bought a ghia!! It is a smart looking, fairly sporty car considering its a family diesel!! It is exceelent on diesel on long journeys but not so good round town.  Wouldn't exactly say its fun to drive but its a nice enough car for what we want it for. I would recommend this car to anyone wanting a large reasonable priced family hatchback, particularly if they are wanting a sportier version.

Pros — Looks, nippy for a diesel.
Cons — Suspension

For a car that was bought because the wife was fed up of hving to pick me up from work, this has so far appeared to be a great buy.... despite someone nudging it in the work's car park!!! ;-)  when the dent is knocked back out and the few scratches removed I'm sure it will look as good as a Mondeo can ever look!!!

Pros — automatic, great turn of acceleration
Cons — not the most fascinating colour

didnt really like it when i got it but it grew on me. can take a beating and eventhough it has high mileage (160000) it starts and performs just like it was brand new.

Pros — very responsive and easy to maintain
Cons — a tad bit juicy for my liking

Big, well built and comfy.  Had the privacy screen done at the same place as David Beckham
has his cars done!

Couldn't handle 3 car seats though.  It had to go.
