| “Good All Round Performer”
My hubbies car. Comfortable on long trips, reasonably quiet even at speed. Goes and stops well though 167bhp from 2.5 litres is pretty poor compared to todays cars. Performance is adequate though and it doesn't mind being driven hard every now and again. Handling good for a front driver though with the big V6 lump up front the natural tendency is to understeer into corners.
Pros —
Cheap to buy, well specced and fun to drive.
Cons —
Thirsty, can be expensive when it goes wrong, cheap build quality - early Ford.

My friends are telling me to sell him and buy something better like BMW, but I allways answer them "NO" there is something that bounds me with him, not even I know what is that but I just know I won`t sell him, no, never!!! |
| “Good Power Better Than My Old Escort But No Style” powerful car was a 1.6 so did have a bit of go in it. But was too big for what i needed. was just an improvement on my previous car didnt feel attached to it.

well ok my modle isn't in best condition and has done 160000 miles ish. so it's not really any geood to review. BUt it does have a massive boot and does give about 34 mpg which i think is amazing for an older car.
Pros —
Cheap running costs, Loads of spares in scrap yards. Huge boot you can hide in.
