2008 Mazda MX-5 Miata Grand Touring
After reading Consumer Reports, I made the choice of going with their recommended choice for roadster in this price range. Mazda built this car with driver comfort and performance in mind. From the short throw shifter, to controls on the steering wheel and heated leather seats for the cool summer nights with the top down, one can't help but smile while driving this incredible machine. I owned a 99 Miata LS, and the improvements since then are amazing. I personally enjoy the added leg room, no more cramped legs on a long drive.

Handling is pretty good as well as the acceleration. The power retractable hardtop works really well and you feel more secure than in the ragtop although headroom is less.
Pros —
Can be a everyday car.
Cons —
Small. But what can you expect from a 2 seated roadster. Manual shifter is not as smooth as i would like. really notchy.
