Good source of transportation. This vehicle is our third car so it stays in the garage most of the time. It was a dealer demo so it was a good price. I added leather seats to it which made it more my style.
Pros:
great for moving bulky items
Cons:
i have a 300C with 340hp. so this V6 seems very lacking

As numerous carlike SUVs entered the market, the 4Runner grew old quickly and its weaknesses began to show. Two engines were available: a 150-hp 2.7-liter inline-4 and a 183-hp 3.4-liter V6 engine, neither of which was particularly strong for the time. Some of our editors also thought that the body was too narrow, making the cabin feel tight and claustrophobic. Furthermore, the stereo was difficult to operate -- an unusual criticism for a Toyota product. Still, this model impressed with its off-road prowess and typically high Toyota build quality. Buyers in search of a tough, capable SUV with a reputation for durability could do much worse than a 4Runner from this era.

Simply a great car! Averaging 23mpg on highway, this is the perfect match for the 4wheel driver enthusiast on a budget that I am.this car surely is build to last and go anywhere you like from the rocky road of Jasper NP to the hot sand of the Death Valley.

Love it...awesome suv. 25 mpg gas mileage....fun to drive...low maintenance...exterior represents a beautiful vehicle...interior is comfortable yet appealing...performance is unbelievable...so far, this truck has not had any problems that I have had to repair. Cost of ownership=excellent. couldn't ask for a better vehicle!!!!

Great room, sporty look, simple and easy to clean interior, Ipod jack, sun roof, decent sound system. Rides nice, suspension is firm yet surprisiingly smooth. Corners well.
Cons:
Gas mileage, power is just OK, stock tires don't impress appearance wise, sounds system is decent. Came from a Mark Levinson system. Hard to beat..

This SUV delivers all the goods for the $$$. Safety, fuel mileage, rock solid reliability, and excellent build quality was a seller. I've test driven many other models in the same class, but the 4runner was stil my final choice. Go Toyota!!!
