2008 Infiniti G35 Reviews
| “G35s 6mt First Impressions” Reviewing:
2008 Infiniti G35 Sport 6MT
Performance - so far the performance seems great. Still in the break-in period, so can't wait to break her loose.
Pros —
Engine, aesthetics, fun
Cons —
Low gearing, but I guess that adds to the "fun" part

Great car, I had a 2006 and it was also great. I would suggest this car, it is a great value for the money. Performance is fantastic, ride is smooth but not too smooth that you don't feel like you are not driving. There is plenty of room for 2 car seats in the rear too.
Pros —
Value, performance, size
Cons —
Gas mileage is not great, I average 18.5 blended

| “G35x Wins Out Over C300” Reviewing:
2008 Infiniti G35 xAWD
Rating: I did not give it 5 stars or the highest rating in all categories because there is not perfect car. There is always room for improvement.
Pros —
The Technology, handling, cornering, sound and response.
Cons —
wish it was a bit bigger. After coming from a Tahoe, it is significantly smaller. But it does fit in the garage.

| “Rail Gun Acceleration; Leave First Born At Pump.” Reviewing:
2008 Infiniti G35 xAWD
Man this car is fast. And boy does it have grip. Got my G35x (all wheel drive) in January 2008 with blizzaks and it still performs great. I upgraded from a 2005 G35x which was nice but much rougher around the edges than this car. The engine has been improved from 298 to 306 Hp, and the interior quality is superb. I prefer the rounded edges on this one too. No problems so far. I've changed the oil after the break in period and am running full synthetic. No more change till 10000kms. The only negative is that the car is a bit thirsty. With a 68 L tank it cost me almost $90 to fill it the other day. It runs premium fuel. That being said, I get more joy out of each litre than I ever did from any vehcile I drove for any length of time in the past (in order: 78 Mercury Grand Marquis Woody Wagon, 86 Ford Tempo, 87 Chevy Camaro, 98 Ford Taurus, 92 GMC Safari, 92 Toyota Tercel, 97 Subaru Outback, 2005 Infiniti G35x).
Pros —
Hold on to your face fast. Even around corners!
Cons —
Monthly fuel costs could lease you a mazda3.

| “Kickass Ride” Reviewing:
2008 Infiniti G35 Base
I drove this on two occasions while getting my car serviced at the dealership. There's a reason this car wins comparisons, it's really good. Engine revs fast and feels really urgent, really pushes you back. handling is top notch (yes I do push it until it runs outta tire grip). I can't feel the VDC grabbing the brakes at all - I only know it's working when I turn it off and the tail comes out. Sound system is the best ever. Only thing I would complain about is how the throttle is hard to control, you press a little bit and nothing happens, Once you get to its threshold, it explodes. Another complait I have is how small the rear window is, I'm always in fear of running over pedestrians while backing up.
Pros —
Engine, transmission, handling, sound system
Cons —
throttle control, i only had it for 2 day, rearward visibility

| “One Of The Best New Sports Cars To Do Burn Outs In.” Reviewing:
2008 Infiniti G35 Sport 6MT
Leaving the cautious styling update aside for the moment, this is a distinctly more capable G35 than the original: quicker straight ahead, quicker on its feet, with a new variable-assist rack-and-pinion steering system that tells the driver more about what the front tires are doing than did the previous setup. Infiniti also offers a new active-steering option that's touted as a response enhancer, but it wasn't present on our test car, and in any case, we wonder whether it's worth the extra money — $1200, at a guess — or the added weight — about 25
Pros —
Really great handling
Cons —
Really fun to drive

| “Faster Than Most M3's Driven By Imbecile Rich Dudes” Reviewing:
2008 Infiniti G35 Sport 6MT
Take 306HP, jam it into a rugged tight frame, throw in a six speed with a smooth clutch and predictable oversteer at the limit. Perfect, and it seats 4 comfortably :-)
Pros —
Fast, smooth, surprises sports coupes routinely
Cons —
Sometimes difficult 1-2 upshift beyond 7K RPMs
