1986 Honda Civic CRX Reviews
| “One Of The Best Compact Sports Cars Ever Made!” it's the original CRX, what more? Well it is one of the best looking two door coupes ever made. It is one of the few "classic" cars ever made by Honda. It has great gas mileage, acceleration and reliability. People are always asking about it as it really is a head turner, especially the red and silver ones. All CRX owners are proud of their cars.
Pros —
It's red and silver

| “This Car Is A Miracle.”
Never has a piece of Japanese engineering been submitted to so extensive mistreatment and violence over such a long period and still survived. Latest status is a broken steering wheel do to very rough corner handling.
Pros —
Light, fast & fun
Cons —
Safety, comfort

| “Fast Car With Small, Torquey Motor” I drove this a long time ago when I was in my teens and I thought I was on cloud-9 driving this thing...the car was so quick, could squeal its fat tires (70-series, sporty tires). I got 45 miles per gallon out of it, which I thought was amazing considering its acceleration capabilty.
Pros —
Acceleration, mpg, fun to drive
Cons —
Small, not crash-safe, only 2 seats

| “Great Lil Fun Car” This car was always fun to drive. Even more so with the larger jap motor in there. Remember beating new nicer cars and seeing their shocked eyes always made me smile. Gas tank was sooo tiny and barely had to fill it up. Awesome at maneuvering at high speeds as well.
Pros —
Super fun to drive, handles turns awesomely at high speed turns. Perfect as a sleeper as well. Gas millage excellent. Super cheap parts.
Cons —
Had to replace motor for full potential.

Cons —
still not very fast.

| “Fun Little Car.” Red, with lowered suspension, Borbet Wheels, Second Gen CRX Si exhaust. bought this from a co-worker to commute with. Fun little car. I almost bought one of these instead of the 84 Mustang GT for college so when he had it for sale I picked it up. I had a lot of fun driving it. It was lowered with torsion bars and the front end always bottomed out so I finally got frustrated enough to sell it. I'm not a fan of FWD car's so I'm not sure I'd buy another one although I did like it a lot. the guy that bought it worked for a stereo store in Sacramento and was going to make it into a showcar.
Pros —
Fun, reliable.
Cons —
Never got lowered suspension figured out.
