2001 Chevrolet Malibu Reviews
“Reliable Car”
I knew going with a Chevy would be a wise decision. Minus the minor mechanical problems, I am very happy with this car.

The smaller of Chevrolet's two midsize sedans slots below Impala in size, price, and market position. Malibu offers base and LS models, both with a V6, automatic transmission, and ABS. Impala can seat six; Malibu has front bucket seats for 5-passenger capacity. For 2001, power door locks and a rear defogger are now standard on the base model as well as the LS.

Electrical functions in the dash seem to be a week link on this model.
Similar problems I had on a Lumina owned before the Malibu.
Have this car from when I lived 2 states away to drive back and forth to home...never had any major problems with it other than ripping the front bumper off getting alittle to wild on some dirt roads...
