2001 Chevrolet Malibu Reviews
| “A Good First Car” Reviewing:
2001 Used Chevrolet Malibu Base
A very Nice Car with great acceleration and braking. The handling is great and can turn on a dime. It has had a few problems, such as the ABS doesn't work and the engine light comes on from time to time but it doesn't affect driving. It's a nice looking car both inside and out. It gets around 20 MPG which is not great but is ok for a '01.
Pros —
Easy to Drive
Cons —
Electronic Problems

| “Cars Like This Should Be Made More Often.” Reviewing:
2001 Used Chevrolet Malibu LS
2001 Chevy Malibu LS series with cd player and sound system built in. Air Condition and heating. 16 gallon tank. Cruise Control. Automatic Seats in front. Automatic Windows and locks. Nice comfy seating. gets good gas mileage. Anti-lock breaks.
Pros —
Its basically the kind of car u'd give to ur children when they're in high school. It really is a great car.
Cons —
The only problems so far I've had with it are I needed to get the starter replaced u may noticed that if u had gotten that car when it came out the starter would need replaced after about 55k miles. I've also had to get my fuel pump and injector changed but that was due to how well it was taken care of. Other than that it has not given me anymore problems.

| “Rest In Peace Buddy...” Reviewing:
2001 Used Chevrolet Malibu Base
My first car and the car I learned how to drive in. It was defective and broke down at least 3 times a month. I called it Negative Nixon. When it worked it was amazing. When it didn't.... well at least it looked good sitting in the garage. hahahaha. I had some great memories in that car. I'd still have it, but in late 2007 some jackass ran a red light and totalled it out.
Pros —
The memories.
Cons —
Everything Else.

| “Reliable Car” Reviewing:
2001 Used Chevrolet Malibu LS
I knew going with a Chevy would be a wise decision. Minus the minor mechanical problems, I am very happy with this car.
Pros —
Leather Seats, Moon Roof, CD/Tape Player, and runs like dream
Cons —
Only minor mechanical problems

| “Ugly. Over Priced. American Built Pos!” Reviewing:
2001 Used Chevrolet Malibu Base
The smaller of Chevrolet's two midsize sedans slots below Impala in size, price, and market position. Malibu offers base and LS models, both with a V6, automatic transmission, and ABS. Impala can seat six; Malibu has front bucket seats for 5-passenger capacity. For 2001, power door locks and a rear defogger are now standard on the base model as well as the LS.
Pros —
It withstood a lot of beating that I gave it. Pretty safe in after two car accidents.
Cons —
UGLY, Velour seats, vinyl interior, UGLY, Horrible in deep snow, Trunk had an "unfinished" look, passenger mirror had no adjustment knobs, gas consumption sucked: 19/21

| “Air Conditiong Controls Are Failing At 70k”
Electrical functions in the dash seem to be a week link on this model. |
| “Good State To State Crusier” Reviewing:
2001 Used Chevrolet Malibu LS
Have this car from when I lived 2 states away to drive back and forth to home...never had any major problems with it other than ripping the front bumper off getting alittle to wild on some dirt roads...
Pros —
Good gas mileage, roomy enough for 4, autostart...lol
Cons —
rides like a brick at times..

| “My Fathers Car” Reviewing:
2001 Used Chevrolet Malibu Base
I hate driving this car, but it is pretty fast for a stock sedan, and very practical. It has had normal wear and tear but still rips pretty good. Its really good for a front wheel drive car for drifting in the snow.
Pros —
Quick, decent for drifting, Practical
Cons —
Boring to drive, Looks like every other car
