1981 Cadillac Seville Reviews
| “The Amazing 1981 Cadillac Seville” My car is extremely unique, very solid, built extremely well, performance is amazing but the acceleration could be a little better, but overall I love.

| “Rare And Classic Luxury Auto - In Australia!” The second year of the controversial yet graceful "bustleback" model, the 1981 Seville is a huge American sedan that is both imposing and impressive. Cadillac was the ultimate in luxury in those days and no expense was spared on this example; full leather trim and a list of features longer than my arm, many arguably years ahead of their time. With its enormous 6-8-4 fuel-injected engine, the Seville is capable of some pretty fair grunt, but there were problems with these engines back in the old days (it was a great idea in theory), so this is not a car to go hooning around in - not that it's really possible anyway, as it is virtually a landbarge, weighing over 2 tonnes! While mass production in the States, this is an extremely rare car in Australia, and was expertly converted from left to right-hand drive and sold here new in 1981. An absolute head-turner, this will be a classic for many years to come.
Pros —
Electric everything (including boot!), twilight sentinel lights with automatic high beams, that beautiful rear end, huge, powerful, rare, expensive-looking car that is the epitomy of luxury!
Cons —
Acceleration takes a while, parts are really expensive here, too big for parking spaces and other fools nearly clip it, not an Elegante model, hazard light button is too hard to pull out and will probably break off, but this of course is all minor stuff! Brilliant car.
