| “Great Truck” I love this truck! The Z71 off road package makes this the most solid ride I have ever owned and it'll go just about anywhere. 110K miles and all I've had to do (other than routine maintainence) is replace the power steering pump. There is a ton of room for the family and it can tow just about anything. The roof rack has a rolling bar at the rear and will can hold about 500 lbs.
Pros —
Comfort, ride and just about everything else.
Cons —
Gas Milage averages between 15 and 16 mpg and it's a 26 gallon tank. You do the math.

2002 Used Chevrolet Tahoe LT 4WD
The leather seats are great in the winter, you can turn on the seat warmer in your butt and back, but in the summer, ouch...till the ac gets going! Would be nice if it got better mileage, its been killing me...we are going to have to sell a kid to afford the gas.

2002 Used Chevrolet Tahoe LS
spacious and comfortable. it is a good vehicle to have as a first car. fun to work on, and fun to have if you have a couple good friends. the vehicle's power is about 275 horses from a 5.3l V8 Vortec Engine. i know the vehicle is capable of hauling a 20ft boat behind it. the only problem i have with it is that it breaths gas. not the best first vehicle if you have a budget as a new driver

Mine is blue, It is my first new car. It is still going after 6 years!
Pros —
it is very reliable, it seats up to 9, I can take every one, it HAD onstar. I have gotten in 2 accidents and I received no damage!
Cons —
It HAD onstar, Gas prices!!!

| “Approximately 108000mi On '02” after 108000 miles on the tahoe and 3 years of pulling a 2500lb boat through the various colorado passes i.e. rabbit ears, eisenhower, vail... etc, still no problems with the vehicle. i love it. only reacently have i been debating installing a shift kit for the tranny?? thinking i'll wait until that unfreindly day when it will enevitably go out.

great road trip and towing vehicle.

5.3 liter wish it had a 5.7??
