2008 Nissan Versa Reviews
| “2008 Nissan Versa Hatchback” Reviewing:
2008 Nissan Versa S
The 2008 Nissan Versa is a car that can get you from point A to Point B, but it doesn't offer much more than that. In the corners, it understeers, and there is a ton of body roll. The tires skid across the road instead of digging in and finding grip. It can, however, outrun an automatic, non vtec equipped Acura Integra, which did surprise me. Gas mileage is where this car shines though. With falling gas prices, it is possible to fill up with 20 bucks, and drive it for 2-3 weeks, depending on how you drive it. The exterior styling is, in my opinion, hideous. The lights wrap around from the front over to the sides. The interior is quite roomy however, and it feels a lot bigger than it actually is.
Pros —
Roomy, good gas mileage
Cons —
Understeers, underpowered, ugly

| “My 2008 "violet" The Versa” Reviewing:
2008 Nissan Versa S Hatchback
My newly purchased 2008 Nissan Versa S hatchback is a quirky and fun car to drive. I chose the Versa after I had researched extensively and even test drove the Suzuki Aerio, Scion xa, VW Golf/GTI, Toyota Yaris, and Chevy Aveo. I decided against the xa and yaris because they both had the driving "dials" located in the center column of the dashboard. I am too much of a lead foot and didn't think for safety reason the spedometer was in a good location in the car. It looks like Scion has learned though because on the new 2008 xd that have moved the driving "dials" back to the left driver's side.
Pros —
ease of use, exterior styling, interior styling, comfort, pick up, price
Cons —
lack of sportiness, smaller hatchback

| “Nissan Versa Sport Sl” Reviewing:
2008 Nissan Versa SL Hatchback
The nissan versa sedan is not so great. I baught the sport model with the bluetooth technology.... fully loaded with a sunroof and a spoiler. The sport has a CVT Transmission that is not in a sedan or base model. Its very unique performance is awsome......... I do have a need for a utility sport now for my cottage so I may sell it for that reason only. ITS A GREAT CAR..... BUT ONLY THE SL SPORT HATCHBACK
Pros —
the sport is an awsome vehicle
Cons —
no negatives.....

| “Reliable, Comfy, And Fuel Efficient” Reviewing:
2008 Nissan Versa S Hatchback
What more can you ask for in a car? this car is great. It's stylish yet simple. My biggest recomendation is to get the CVT tranny though. The 4 auto isnt that great. Compare both in a test drive and you'll see what Im saying.
Pros —
More power than competitors
+ Available upscale features + Fuel economy with CVT + Interior space + Price
Cons —
Modest road presence
- ABS not standard |
