| “I Love My Tsx”
2008 Acura TSX Base Review

The 2008 Acura TSX is one of the most well-balanced packages available in the 30-grand price range. It is extremely well-appointed for an entry-level sedan. When i saaw it on the dealership i instantly fell in love with it. The car has 205 hp under the hood, maybe not as much as i would have hoped to have (other considerations were the Lexus IS-250, Nissan Altima V6, for example) but it is very fun to drive and very very comfortable as a daily driver. The Build quality is excelent. I personally chose the brushed aluminum interior on black, which i think is the sexiest and most luxurious type (Wood doesnt quite cut it for me). On the exterior, the TSX is quite remarkable, as it is very sleek, sporty and luxurious at the same time. As i said before, the TSX does not have an extremely powerful engine, but it is responsive (especially in shiftronic mode) and VERY fun to drive.
Pros:
Sporty, sleek and elegant, very fun to drive, comfortable ride, low road noise
Cons:
engine could use more power & torque.

performance wise- 205 hp 161 torque not engouh...but i will soon chip, intake, exhaust, and maybe headers.

Great car overall, a little bland on the styling, but I think they have fixed that with the new 2009 model. A whole lot of car for under $30000. Why buy an Accord for close to the same price, when you have a better bulit car, longer warranty, quiter, more powerful, better oerforming engine, six speed manual, and extra ammenities such as Bluetooth, Xenon headlights, memory seats, and much more!

Price, ammenities, Hondas reputation
Cons:
Wish they had a turbo SH-AWD model

Bang for buck...no other manufacturer offers anything even close to the TSX in its price range. Resale/residual is high as it is Honda. Fun car to drive with all the gadgets and it turns heads. Decent fuel economy. How can you go wrong? Answer...you can'tâ¦..best value out there bar none.
Pros:
Great looks with all the bells and whistles. Honda product!
Cons:
For that MSRP, no negatives

Love this car...
Pros:
Great looks, monospec means all the toys (except the nav) are standard, light on its feet chuckable and frisky, guiltless great gas mileage (21-24 city, 30-33 highway!), bulletproof reliability, integrated bluetooth is sweet, fit and finish is beyond top notch, VTEC mill loves to rev, 5-speed manumatic is a no-brainer, looks better than the 2009.
Cons:
turning circle is way too wide, Michelin all seasons are just ok, not as much interior room, low-end grunt isn't always there, VTEC threshold at 6200 rpm is way too high (300-400 rpm shy of redline)

Car is a bit underpowered, but with a cold air intake, and the hondata chip reprogram, it is absolutely amazing! to have a car with this type of performance, quality, and comfort for this price was previously unheard of.

no traffic re-routing on the navigation system..

my dad said that since acura is part of honda, the tsx is similar to the honda civic in basic make.. the appearance is probably the only difference according to him.. along with the price.. i really like the appearance of it although the back looks a little off to me.. my friend said this car came up in a magazine as one of the best cars recommended to teenagers and i would think i would have to agree.. =)
Pros:
like i said... its pretty =) and a great car for teenagers that are starting to drive
Cons:
the pricing may be a bit expensive.. i can find a lot of cars that gives me more with the price being equal or less..
