Comfortable, stylish interior. Fast and handles like  it's on rails, does not move off line cornering! Decent on gas. Awesome car.

Very, very nice car.  Superb quality and overall feel.  This was also my first diesel and I was pleasantly surprised by it.  Not the smelly noisy thing I was expecting but reasonably refined and fairly brisk.

Also handled pretty well, with loads of grip.  It fired through corners with no fuss that had the Seat Cupra corkscrewing and getting out of shape.

With the S-line kit and 18" wheels it also looked superb; to my eyes one of the nicest looking 'norma'l cars on the road.  And I could lob four mountain bikes on the roof, all the kit in the back, head off for the day and then posh it up in the evening with no probs - top tastic.

1.8T could have used more power

Better than the front-wheel drive ones.
