2003 Chevrolet Malibu Reviews
| “Suck It, Ford Taurus.” Reviewing:
2003 Used Chevrolet Malibu Base
Fine enough get and go for a 3000 lb. car. Turning radius is ridiculously bad, and cornering, consequently is equally awful. Braking is solid. Rear view is rather awkward as the default suspension sets the car at an incline, thereby making backing up an adventure. Due to the light weight, incline suspension, and overall average handling at best, the rear has a tendency to slip out, especially in bad weather.
Pros —
Reliability, Safety, Maintenance Costs/Labor, Price, Utility
Cons —
Anything nearing performance and handling, save the peppy V6

| “It Is A Really Great Car.i Would Recommend This Car To A Friend.” Reviewing:
2003 Used Chevrolet Malibu LS
I love my car. Gold Malibu. Tan interior. Drives efficiently. Great on the gas.I would buy another someday. I would love to have a sun roof in this car, but can't have all the possitives, and no negatives thats just life. It has a CD player, AC, electronic seats, tilts, spacious compartments. But no way of plugging in my IPOD. It is fun to drive, and fits my personality. It drives, very well, but when stopping its body frame shifts and squeaks. No it is not the brakes, guys. I have not had to make any repairs, other than minor wear repairs. It is a really great car.I would recommend this car to a friend.
Pros —
I would buy another someday.
Cons —
Not a six seater, only a 5

| “....” Reviewing:
2003 Used Chevrolet Malibu LS
this car is a decent car. it has plenty of room if you are taller no matter where you are sitting.Engine has power but the fact that it is a weak design makes you think about beating on it.
Pros —
plenty of room
Cons —
the engine is weak as hell lots of problems with intake gasket leaks
|
| “An American Car With An European Engine” No as refined as its other competitors as the camry or accord, the overall impression is fair for the price. The cabin is quiet enough and the controls are not impressive but modest. The 3.1 engine performance is the strong point in this car. The ergonomics are good.
Pros —
Performance, respetable fuel economy, quiet cabin.
Cons —
some cheap-like materials inside the car, high depretiation.

| “Nice, Basic Sedan” Reviewing:
2003 Used Chevrolet Malibu Base
Handles wonderfully, with little effort, doesn't feel like 4,000 lbs. Comfortable, modern interior, intuitive controls.
Pros —
Great to drive.
Cons —
Exterior is a little plain.

| “Very Reliable, But Not To Comfortable” Reviewing:
2003 Used Chevrolet Malibu Base
The most uncomfortable car I have ever owned, but with only one car in the fam, my wife drove it most of the miles, it has been a very reliable car, and the things that broke were covered under the extended warranty. I have put 85K+ on in 4 years, and it has been good on gas with Avg. MPG between 23-29 with mixed driving, and my wife's lead foot.
Pros —
Very reliable and good in the snow.
Cons —
Uncomfortable and uninspiring

| “Most Car For Least $” Reviewing:
2003 Used Chevrolet Malibu LS
I love my car. Sure its not the best car on the road, but i still love it.
Pros —
44000 miles, spoiler, leather seats.
Cons —
leather seats not heated, no sunroof, no six disc.

| “Your Basic V6 Front-wheel Drive Sedan; Don't Expect Much.” Reviewing:
2003 Used Chevrolet Malibu Base
These cars are everywhere. This body style of Malibu is almost more common than Civics in my area. It'll stick corners about as good as any small sedan will, and the acceleration isn't shabby. I find it abnormally quiet, as to where you almost need the large, analog tachometer to know it's running. The styling isn't bad, but it is too common to be memorable. The interior works, but could use improvement.
Pros —
Quick, well-styled, small on outside, nimble
Cons —
too common, too quiet, small on inside, easily loses grip under acceleration
