2008 Chevrolet Impala Reviews
| “2008 Impala” Reviewing:
2008 Chevrolet Impala LT
One of the best cars I have ever owned. It is big, luxurious, looks great, and lots of power + good gas mileage for a full size car. We got the LT2 for a few more options, the leather is a must!! The active fuel management system allows you to choose the 3.9L engine and still get good MPG.

| “Best Car I've Ever Owned!!” Reviewing:
2008 Chevrolet Impala LS
I loveeeee my new car. I've had it about a month, and I just love it so much!! It rides well, has a great stereo system with XM radiio and On Star. I picked Silver Metallic color and Black for the Interior. This car has the "Flex Fuel" option. You can put that E-84 or whatever that Ethanol fuel is called, but I've not tried that yet. I've not had any problems with it yet, and I'm hoping that I don't for a long time!
Pros —
XM Radio, ON Star, and it also has side door airbags..for extra safety
Cons —
none

2008 Chevrolet Impala 2LT
A very solid domestic family sedan in the $20,000 range that can either be a hopped-up
Pros —
engine, transmission, interior, materials, economy, creature comforts, overall appearance,
affordability
Cons —
hard to see out of back window when backing up (high seat-backs), accelerator break-in

| “Fairly Decent Car, But Hardly An Inspiring Performer.” Reviewing:
2008 Chevrolet Impala LT
There are better choices out there, as the Impala feels dated compared to just about every other midsize and fullsized sedans offered by the competition. While there is nothing terribly bad about this sedan, there is nothing exceptional about this sedan. The interior packaging is lousy, while the drivability is decent overall. The ride is good, but far from the best in class. The handling is mushy, as well as the braking performance. The engine sounds quiet at cruise and idle, but is very thrashy during acceleration.
Pros —
Styling doesn't offend, quietness at idle and cruising, Optional 3.9L engine
Cons —
Lackluster handling, braking, acceleration, rear seat room, seat contouring, Good for rental fleets, but hardly awe inspiring for the consumer.
