2006 Chrysler Crossfire Reviews
| “Caught In A Crossfire” Reviewing:
2006 Used Chrysler Crossfire Roadster
Acceleration was good in 6.5 secs, but smaller hot hatches will beat it. It did offer 26 mpg though, was a very good looking car. Pick one up now for ã10K and what a car for the money. Merc SLK unerdneath so solid engine and reliability with American styling
Pros —
Styling, looks, reliability
Cons —
Plastic trim, Jeremy Clarkson

| “Defintly A Worthy Chrysler/mercedes Effort” Reviewing:
2006 Used Chrysler Crossfire Roadster
The fruit of a joint effort of both Chrysler and Mercedes Benz is definitly worth taking a look at. The fat rear wheels on this car give it a lot of stability and handling and the large breaks on the car are astonishing. Based on the only SLK chassis, the styling inside from what i have heard resembles Mercedes. As impractical and fun that this car has it does have its flaws. Low end torque is pathetic for a car of this caliber. In addition, so you don't think it's a Mercedes , they have toned down the 3.2 liter V6 to only 215 hp. But with that aside once you get past 2nd gear the car takes off. My father has a manual but i heard the torque is not as much of an issue with the automatic.
Pros —
Unique styling, impressive handling, surprisingly quiet unless you decide to push the gas down, spoiler lifts up in the back at high speeds
Cons —
Low end torque could be improved, high price tag when new when there are competitors that give you more for a similar price

| “An Average Package For An Above Average Cost” Reviewing:
2006 Used Chrysler Crossfire Coupe
152Kw for a 3.2L V6 is poor and the price certainly does not match the performance. This is a car for the mercedes fan, its reserved and the interior is almost identical to your standard C-class.
Pros —
Neat, above average speed, comfortable
Cons —
Over priced, under powered

| “Sexy Midsized Roadster.” Reviewing:
2006 Used Chrysler Crossfire Roadster Limited
I had the opportunity to test drive the Crossfire and I must say, it's quite the car. The german built 3.2L V6 and chassis handle well, and provide decent acceleration. Most of what makes this car so interesting and fun to drive are the neat ammenities like the speed sensitive spoiler that can be raised or lowered, the automatic top, a well appointed interior, and an irresistable exterior. I'm not sure why Chrysler had such a problem selling these; probably because of the fact it's a very small niche market automobile, but if you're looking for something with only two seats, this car delivers it all. Cerberus will end Chrysler's production of the crossfire by 2009, or as soon as possible, in an attempt to cut ties with Mercedes cross engineered former DCX vehicles, which will make finding one difficult, but worth the search.
Pros —
Neat gadgets like the roof and spoiler, enticing looks, good handling and acceleration
Cons —
Tight quarters, high sticker price.
