2004 Used Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 Crew Cab Short Bed 4WD
Not too sure how to put it, other than freakin awesome overall truck. Had a Toy Tacoma crew prior, and now with the full size Silverado I get the same gas mileage, and way more HP, towing capacity, and brute. My wife is the main driver, and she loves her truck. Whether towing a camper, the fourwheeler, or cruzing empty, this truck commands the road just fine, and rides well. We run Mobile1 synthetic, and have had no mechanical issues. Electrically we did have to get the blower motor replaced, and this year they changed the towing wiring harness pin layout which threw us for a loop, but other than that, it's a great truck, and I would buy it again - no question.
Pros —
Plenty of power on tap, easy on fuel if you want it to be.
Cons —
Seems to chew up tires (even after aligned)

Mechanically dependable, clean on the inside and out, Its a workhorse so it can take a beating...but dont get any ideas lol, The majority of this 6400lb truck is steel and iron so try not to crash into it. It doesnt get awesome mpg but thats ok. All in all, I highly recommend it as a comfortable, reliable, decent powered vehicle.

2004 Used Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Work Truck Ext Cab Short Bed 4WD
I like the truck alot, it handles and rides great, needs a little more power, which i will take care of that. It has just the right amount of options that i needed, gas mileage isnt to bad either. Will have alot more fun when it has more power, 6 inch lift, and 35 inch tires. Can we say going to dunes!!!

Solid truck, decent gass miliage, smooth ride, I LOVE the tonue cover! it keeps everything nice and dry and locks when the doors lock, Overall a very nice dependable chevrolet!! It rides smooth and has enough power to pull anything ive ever needed to pull. I sure miss the dual exaust from the old rig though.... she's pretty quite!!

the tonue cover that keeps the weather and crimanals off of my "toys"

its only a standard cab and the space in the cab is limited. (my last truck was and extended cab)

Can't go wrong with a Chevy. I bought this truck as my first vehicle and then got custom american racing rims--WOW!!! They made it a whole different truck.

It is my first truck, but my favorite as well. This trucks got it all room, looks, and performance. 4wd, flowmaster, new brush guard.

I love this truck. Saved my life in a nasty wreck. But it was a very nice truck. Plenty of power and with a positrac rear end it all goes to the road.

Awesome Truck.. Very well built.. handling is intense.. and the trucks performance is just great! But with gas at 4 bucks a gallon, you better take out a second loan just for gas!
Pros —
the new 327 motor winds up fast. the weight of this truck is perfectly balanced
Cons —
steppin on the pedal too hard will result in spontaneous rubber laying
