2005 Used Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Short Bed 2WD
love my truck but wish that it was a ford. It does get up and go but it isn't a v-8 which is what I want. I have never had it stuck and yes i have had it in the mud. it is a regular cab and that bugs me also.
Pros —
it has an awesome a/c and it is very good on gas well that is for a truck
Cons —
it is not a ford and wish it was a 4x4 and a v-8

It's a beast...4x4 Z71 , sandstone or goldish color, and leather interior...5.3 Liter V8 engine it gets about anywhere from 13 to 15 mpg and seats 6 people pretty comfotably...Haven't tried it out in the mud yet but I'm sure it can handle anything you throw at it. It only has 60,000 miles and just over 1900 engine hours and was used as a personal truck by a man who I know took care of his truck.

AC, Z71, leather, XM radio, plenty of room in cab and bed

Broke intermediate steering shaft and it blew a fuel valve, thank god for
warranties!!!

The gauges went out at 80000 miles, 5000 miles past the warranty and cost over $400 to replace. That sucked!!

Loved it. It was the truck I always wanted. Lots of power, good handling, comfortable, looked good. The only downfall was the poor mileage. Its the reason I sold it. I couldn't justify the money for gas anymore
