2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser Reviews
| “Its A Cruiser!” Reviewing:
2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4 Dr Base
For a four cylinder..the mileage you get is awful, otherwise its an awesome little vehicle if you just wanna cruise and arent looking for any high speeds, tight cornering, or quick exceleration..it is a CRUISER and nothing more. Storage space is a bit of an issue as well..golf clubs will not load sideways, which is quite discerning when just about any midsize car can handle that kind of load in its trunk.
Pros —
Nice little straight driving vehicle for points A to B.
Cons —
Mileage and storage

| “Pros And Cons” Reviewing:
2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4 Dr Base
This car is fun to drive. It has decent to good gas mileage and generally performs well. I love the looks of the car, but I do wish I could have gotten leather interior. I got the base model, so I don't have cruise control (which I love). My only other complaint is its lack of ooomph in acceleration, which would be eliminated (or added) with a Turbo or possibly Touring edition.
Pros —
Looks sharp!
Cons —
No cruise control!

| “Great Car, Great Price!” Reviewing:
2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4 Dr Touring Edition
I purchased this car in early 2008, and am loving it. It's a stand up vehicle, with unique features, and a price thats worth every dime.
Pros —
Sits high, lots of head room, tons of space for cargo and people alike. Very Good Gas Mileage (I get approx. 28 MPG HWY), the 15 gallon tank will take you about 320 miles HWY, and around 300 miles in town. The cruise control also is a big gas saver, and easy to use.
Cons —
Slow Acceleration (typical 4 cylinder), Low front end, that will occasionally bottom out.

| “Retro Throwback” Reviewing:
2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4 Dr Limited Edition K pkg
Very cheap feeling ride. A typical Mopar interior that detracts from anything of value. The drivers seat positioning for my 5'8" frame was terrible. The interior controls we so far from being intuitive it was ridiculous. The exterior styling is a thing of the past -- have these changed at all since their launch? I might have felt different if it were a convertible or if I had the turbo but without these upgrades this vehicle was merely a box that moved
Pros —
Visual appeal
+ Fun and easy to drive + Maneuverability + Ride comfort
Cons —
Performance in non-turbo model with automatic
- Aging platform - No side curtain airbags - Body lean |
