2006 Chevrolet Cobalt Reviews
| “It's Ok..not As Nice As My Porsche Though...” Reviewing:
2006 Used Chevrolet Cobalt LT
Car looks good, however the suspension is something to be desired. The electronic throttle is also another piece of crap...likes to freeze intermittenly during winter months and tries to kill you if you aren't careful! fuel consumption is also another issue..seems to drink alot of fuel...but I go 140km/h to Sorrento..maybe that has something to do with it?
Pros —
looks, sound system
Cons —
handling and suspension

| “My Cobalt” Reviewing:
2006 Used Chevrolet Cobalt LS
The cobalt picks up pretty quick, stops pretty quickly. I like that i can make my tires squeal when I go around corners. The gas mileage on it is really good under sixty dollars to fill the tank at 1.40 a litre. The only repairs Thats been done has been for a squeak in the front, was a missing retaining bolt. One of the rims is different then the others kinda made me a little mad. But overall this car is really fun to drive.
Pros —
how it handles
Cons —
the different rim.............piss me off!!!!!!!!!!

2006 Used Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged
Horrible off the line, because of the 3.50$ gear box, the clutch slips, once it gets going its quick, the spoiler feels like it was mad at toys r us and wobbles in the wind, even at lower speeds, the sound system is great, love the wheels, i love the look of the car, the car feels very american when going around a corner, meaning it can corner too well, the lights are too weak,
Pros —
acceleration, sound system, huge spoiler and look of the car
Cons —
cornering, build quality, clutch, transmission, wheel hop, FWD, headlights

| “Great Car For The Price, And Moderate Hp” Reviewing:
2006 Used Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged
I bought this car used, it had about 8K on it when I first bought it when I came back from iraq, completely stock. I have modded it so far with a few things. now the thing has about 16K, and some good performance parts added to it. 8K in less then a year lol. anyway I race the car as much as I can, the only draw back is that it has a very hard time competing against the STI's and the EVO's which everyone freaking has now. anyway I love the car, I'm thinking about swapping out the SC for a hahn turbo kit. that will boost me to about 360 HP anyway the cars great if you want toknow anything else just let me know.
Pros —
the body style, interior, and a bunch of other things I can't think of right now
Cons —
not as much HP as I would like to have, before the torque damper it had a lot of wheel pop

| “Chevy Cobalt-ballin' On A Budget” Reviewing:
2006 Used Chevrolet Cobalt LT Coupe
This is my first brand new car. Overall I love it, for a 4 cylinder it has a lot of pep and is pretty responsive. It gets great gas mileage. It has probably the best turning radius I have ever seen in a car...it turns on a dime. It is very fun to drive and is a decent ride for long highway trips. It is a beautiful looking car, I love the body lines and the lights. Plus the color is absolutely gorgeous. I used to love the stock speakers although now the car has some miles on it and things rattle when the bass hits. Chevy could have done a lot more with it looks wise and interior wise. The cloth seats are really ugly and look dirty when they are not. There is a lot of road noise due to bad insulation. I've had a few problems with noisy rear insulators and my door leaking but the dealership fixed it all when it was under warranty. Overall the car has quite a few con's about it but definitely more good going for it, its cheap, fuel efficient, and good looking...what more do you want? lol
Pros —
responsive acceleration, gas mileage, good looking, turning radius, sound system
Cons —
plain interior, too much road noise, seems cheaply made

2006 Used Chevrolet Cobalt LT Coupe
Went to buy a pick up truck and was convinced to buy this by the wife. Its not a bad looking car, but the 160hp 2.2 L engine uses more petrol than i had hoped and interior build quality is dreadful even if not good looking. Accelaration is decent and on motorways it has plenty of torque which i love but couldn't go round a corner for crap. A very average car overall
Pros —
Great motorway cruiser and sporty looks
Cons —
exspensive to run and build quality an after thought

2006 Used Chevrolet Cobalt LT
I love this car! I have put 3 sets of LED's into the car and a lot of chrome. I have also put the sticker COBALT on the windshield which make the car stand out. Good quality car and is fun to drive cause it is manual transmission. I also have been getting any where between 33 and 36 MPG which is awesome. Only paid 13 grand for it brand new and put about $200 in chrome and $60 in LED's. Good car to have and there are many of them out there, yet mine is the one that stands out the most. Roomy yet comfortable.
Pros —
Stylish and fast
Cons —
none

| “Fun Car!” Reviewing:
2006 Used Chevrolet Cobalt LS
I LOVE my car. Great looking car with exception to a few door dings, handles well - except in the snow. Gas mileage is decent, better when it is maintained regularly. Fun to drive, lots of head room and trunk space. I would definitely recommend this car to a friend.
Pros —
Great family car.
Cons —
Doesn't do that well in the snow.
