This was the second car that I owned. It wasn't much to look at, but it was fuel injected, and got me from point A to point B. It was moderately comfortable. Power was decent, but not too much. The seats were moderatly comfortable.

Pros: none
Cons: looks

First car I ever had, and I really liked it despite its problems.  My family traded it in to buy a 2004 CR-V.  It only had a 3-speed transmission, which meant I couldn't go more than 55 or 60 without feeling like I was breaking it.  It handled very well and felt very solid.  The downside: for some reason a lot of stuff started to go wrong and had to be replaced before it had 100,000 miles, and it popped and cracked when turning because something else was going out.  Bearing plates, I think.

Pros: Handling
Cons: Popping

Got the car for free, owner told me the engine rebuilt 30,000 klm ago but head gasket gone.  Could not find head Gasket problem but have found leak of oil at the passenger's side cyliner head retaining bolts number 1 and 2. Wondering if this is typical or will cause serious problems.

Interior nice red instead of the dull interiors of today's vehicles.  Exterior straight but rust bottom of fuel filler, drivers side front fender around signal light rusting and behind passenger side rear wheel.

Problems to address

Idle's at about 1200-1300, is this normal

Sunroof does not work
Radio & power antenna

Believe turbo is working, light's up on dash but thinking it does not provide the boost that you 626 turbo owners describe.

Hoping this free car works as good as the price.

Pros: Almost everything seems to be working after I have driven it 500 klm
smooth diver, like it's size
Cons: Need to find owner's manual to figure out dash etc.-lol
Uses fuel-lol

This car was a stealth sport sedan.  It had big (for 1986) polished aluminum wheels with performance tires, headlight washers, an aggressive honeycomb grille, and a black and red TURBO badge on the trunk.  With a high performance stereo, orange and black gauges, an aggressive stance, and enough torque to break the tires loose with almost no effort, this car was a thrill both around town and on long trips.

Pros: Copious torque, a neat green turbo light that came on under boost, great stereo, comfortable seats, a great bargain compared to other vehicles in its class.
Cons: Torque steer.  Lots and lots of it!
