| “Bought In 1995” I bought it in Budapest from "friend" I was with it many times in Holland, Germany and in Switzerland. Once when it had to go the regular test they called me there is something wring with the shape of numbers..so I rather ask them to leave it and I made the test under the table without to take the car anywhere. Later on in Germany at Passau a duty control guy was more acurate than all others cooworkers before and he found the original numbers and told me the car is stolen. He immidiatley knew I am not the thief, because I was the 6. owne in Hungary. But he told me by the computer's datas it was stolen from a Austrain person in 1989 at Budapet. He took the car and told me to go home. Fortunately a friend of my took me home from that 600 km distance, right away. A half year later I saw my car on the streets of Budapest, because the insurance company at Vienna resold the car acctualy to some of my old friend a German bussiness man, I did not wanted to buy it again, cause I thought I need to pay duty again. But the car still had my driving plate and even my documents....
Pros —
Fun car, fast, strong, and reliable
Cons —
The roof must be changed sometimes.

| “Summerstatic” Fun to drive on sunny days without a care for a schedule. Turning into an ol'school car, it has no GPS, power this or power that the only high tech you will find in this baby is a CD player, an amplifier and two 10" subwoofers in tha back. Engine would need a bit more power, but it's allright.
Pros —
Invisible top! sporty handling, cheap on gazoline
Cons —
Does'nt like winter, tiny trunk, can only seat 4.

This car is awesome. I put premium gas in mine, it's been a bit expensive! The convertible top seems to last for a long time, mine is just like new. |
| “I Love My Car” I have owned my cabby for about 5 years now. I bought it from a friend who had to sell. It is by far the most fun car I have ever driven. With the top down, it is the most stress-relieving therapy there is. Because of it's age, it isn't commonly seen, so it is becoming a unique item on the road. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is that, though it is a reliable car, when it does need parts, they are pricey. Also, with the top up (through the winter), the road noise is pretty high. However, mine does have a replacement top, so the original top might not let the noise through as much. However, I could not ask for a better car for me. |
