75 beetle, bright yellow. BAJA kit on it... can you say fun 3" lift on it..need more 0-60 downhill scares the neighbours. women like it inexpensive to drive and insure.has its own personality... get to tinker with it alot. makes me smile on a really bad day. Going to redo the paint and body on it as this is the way it was built a couple of owners ago, to make it have my own personality. has aftermarket pistons and barrells in it, but not sure of the displacement. converted to electronic ignition, cause I got tired of settin gpoints. 81 mexican beetle interior.

Pros: fun to drive
Cons: not the fastest car I've owned

She's fantastic, a joy to drive (except not so much when warming up that frozen engine early on a February morning).
Love the sound and the general image she has, get lots of looks from people, some bad as in "lol.. wtf?" but it's mostly smiles all round!
Not the nippiest of cars - you can't really thrash her about if you're in a hurry, but there's enough performance to get you from A to B so that's all that matters.
Mechanically she is sound, just a slight oil leak from the front cooler seals but everything else works fine. Bodywork is THE BEST! Nepal Orange paint, totally original non-resprayed, no welding on body panels, a few small dents soon to be pushed out..
Floorpan slightly rusted but to be expected - small hole in rear of the right heater channel.
Recently had the GT wheels resprayed, not shown in the photos yet, so now she looks almost as new!
The car itself is quite big but the interior is smaller than it looks. Lots of legroom in the front, but the back is very cramped - especially where the roof slopes down! Seats are tidy.. the windscreen is rather "in your face" but the plus side is that the inside is not all made of plastic!
Just something a bit different to a clio or a fiesta as my first car, and although there is slightly more work involved in owning one, it's definately worth it and I am a proud to own her!

Pros: Exhaust note, Paintwork, and general driving experience! Easy to work on, and replace/fix things. No computer to shut her down if a fuse goes - and she will just go on forever!
Cons: Lack of engine, brakes, and suspension performance (speedbumps are more painful than usual). Cold morning warm-ups aren't the best of fun either.
